Green willow is a versatile, sustainable and carbon neutral material to work with, suitable for people of all ages and abilities. Living willow installations are a fun and rewarding way to involve people in creating their own special green space. The season for planting is December to March. You can install structures, domes, tunnels, arbours, screens, or "fedges", involving your group fully in the process. It's important to factor in regular maintenance of these structures (a trim in summer and a major cut and reweave in winter). The growing willow structures can provide rods for future planting, making and weaving for years to come!

We were sent this presentation (below) by a school we worked with a few years ago - thanks Muirfield, hope your willow is flourishing!
